I think that James and Akula are a perfect example of two distinct approaches that I have seen new people take on this list. One works, one doesn't. James comes to the table with an open mind, looking for information. He gets thoughtful responses from some of the best people in the business. Akula comes to the table, seeking a rubber stamp of his kit and proceeds to give advice that he has no business giving. He gets flamed and then withdraws from the list instead of just sitting back and listening for awhile. As far as I can tell, listening doesn't get anyone flamed. Someone said it last week, I cannot think of another sport where anyone can correspond with the best of the best and receive information that probably could not be learned in a lifetime of diving for many people. No matter what people want to think, this is a life and death sport, there IS a right way and a wrong way. Society would be a much better place today if people would understand that rather simple concept. Thanks to George, Jarrod and everyone else who takes the time and effort to make this list as good as it is. Gert Grohmann Milwaukee, WI ----------------------------------------------- FREE!
