Kiki I seen two arguments on this list: 1. "I have such an investment in A-clamps that it is not economic to replace with DIN." 2. A-clamps are easier to remove than DIN should you ever need to switch a stage regulator underwater. The reality is that a stage can be controlled by the valve and this is switched off when not in use. However, an A-clamp remains less reliable than DIN and slightly more damage and nag prone. All my regs are DIN, but I would not have a problem diving an A-clamp stage. Hello, After a lot of reading and even watching the DIR II tape. There is still a point which is not so clear for me. All the examples I have seen for deco tanks have used Yoke Valves and Regs. I am wondering why they don't use a DIN valve and reg like the back gas. Is there any particular reason DIN is not mandatory ? kiki > -- > Huu-Nghia VUONG a.k.a.
