You need to accept , not adapt - accept the fact that you have a useless reg and throw it away. This will be a lot cheaper. Also these are upstream regs - if you do not use the Poseiden hose with the pressure relief valve built into it, you will blow the normal hose. These things are dangerous pieces of shit at best.
