In a effort to save anybody holding = one of these cards the trouble of driving all the way to Madison, I = would like to post the guidelines for the"cave diving" cert's that we do = accept at Madison. 1. We recognize all cave diver certification cards of all levels that = are issued by the NACD, NSS/CDS, or GUE. 2. We honor cave diver certifications by other agencies if the training = committee(s) of one or more of the following, the NACD, NSS/CDS, or GUE = officially recognize the other agency instructors in a instructor = crossover capacity. (i.e. IANTD cave instructors are officially = acknowledged and recognized by the NACD Training Committee)=20 3. Cave diving certifications from non-profit organizations whose sole = purpose evolves around cave conservation, and/or preservation are also = honored. Provided that the agency has a sound published teaching = curriculum and certification standard(s) that are enforced within the = agency, and they coincide with those of the NACD or the NSS/CDS. The = agency must also be officially registered as non-profit in the country = or region of its origin (i.e. CDAA). 4. Any for profit organizations that have a w.w.w. site must post a list = of all active status cave instructors, keep it up-dated, and available = for public review on their web site in order for their c-cards and/or = instructors to be accepted at Madison Blue Springs for cave diving = activities. If the organization does not have a web site, then a written = copy of the instructor listing(s) shall be provided by that organization = upon a formal written request by Madison Blue Spring within 14 days of = notification.=20 5. Madison Blue Springs reserves the right to make any changes, and/or = amendments it so deems necessary to any of its written policy and/or = rules.
