OK. Here goes. Although my diving experience and training are extensive, they are irrelevant to the issue of my credentials in answering Marcin's question. I'm not one to spend a lot of time touting my own accomplishments, nor is that necessary here. Here are the only four qualifications anyone needs to answer Marcin's question: 1. Shut up and listen. 2. Read this list and sites like Bentley's and pay attention. 3. Think about the DIR methods and most of what you read here for 3.278 seconds (if that long) until it makes perfect sense. 4. Employ the DIR methods and practices in diving. There you have it: a Ph.D. in Anti-Knob Extensions. I have also followed the same course of study in earning Ph.D.s in Anti-Deep Air; Long Hose Breathing; Anti-Long Hose Stuffing; Anti-Butt Mounting and a myriad of other advanced subjects in Logic. You see, the only way we can reduce the number of strokes out there is to educate them about Doing It Right. I can't fly George or one of his crew up here every time a guy can use a little guidance toward DIR. No, I feel perfectly confident in my ability to follow steps 1 through 4, as outlined above, to learn and then impart my acquired knowledge to others and to help in the worldwide eradication of strokery. I think G and all others would agree: DIR ain't rocket science or brain surgery, either to learn or teach. In fact, that's the beauty of it. (Note to Marcin: please don't take any of this as criticism of you. For all any of us know, you might be in great shape, configured well and can reach the knobs with room to spare. Just asking the question makes you a great candidate for avoiding being the bad guy under Rules 1 and 2. Follow steps 1-4, above, and it will all fall in place for you.)
