We will be doing our annual New Year's Day dive in Lake Michigan.  Nothing 
serious, just a fun dive in twenty feet of water in the slip just north of 
Navy Pier in Chicago.  We have been doing this for the last twenty years.  
Last year we had to break through about a half inch of ice.  It is turning 
cold now and it looks like we will probably have ice again this year.
