I've been playing around with a homebrew "ruggedized" Newton for some time now; I built a deco software system into it, and added a pressure transducer. Are people interested in this sort of thing? (Essentially, a user-reprogrambale dive computer.) My impression was that Newton (and PDA's in general) have not caught on (blame price, functionality, bulk, whatever), so there really isn't much of a market. -frank -- fhd@in*.ne* | [M]athematics is not the study of intangible Platonic 1 212 559 5534 | worlds, but of tangible formal systems which have arisen 1 917 992 2248 | from real human activities. 1 718 746 7061 | -- Saunders MacLane
