I used to do the same thing, but if you need to take off your harness/rig 
underwater, and are wearing a drysuit, you will become dangerously buoyant.

The ACB's are kind of a pain anyway.  I've converted to a minimum weightbelt 
(10-12 lbs) and v-weights.
