Subject: RE: decompresion gas selection and procedures
David, I use these gases (35/32.5, 50/25, 100% O2) for everything. I
feel better after the dive, and am able to get out of the water faster
than on nitrox deco gases. The difference is only really noticeable on
the deeper stuff, but then if there is any effect at all, it only makes
sense to extend this to all dives. For an 80m dive, I would definitely
do it.

As a side note, looking at graphical representations of my deco
profiles, the curves from my more recent dives tend to look more like
the left half of y= minus x^2, rather than the top half of x=y^2, which
is what is generally predicted by the Haldanean models. I suspect the
physical conditioning plays a large part in letting me get away with
this.
