From memory the Andi standard says redundant source of bouyancy. 2
bladders, bladder and dry suit, dosent matter.

When I first started I was on independant doubles (no comments from the
peanut gallery please :)) and it made sense to stuff the long hose in
that config. After I got the manifold I started breathing off the long
hose and was encouraged to do so by the Andi instructors who taught me.
