Well as usual,no help from the "pros" Looking at your cave certification, im sure your already used to the benefits of manifolded doubles, and with the travel issue, id suggest that you rig a safety bottle(pony) as a stage and wear it on your left side. A backplate and harness would be ideal, but most of the "tech" b/c's will offer the attachments that you need. Anyway you look at it ,back mounting it sucks, been there done that. I think the steel tank is going to prove to a bit of a pain anyway you chose to mount it.Weve staged 30's,40's,and 80's,all alum.,and they carry well during the dive.
