Bull, Jim...you tuck the loosed end of the cord under you harness and it
will not catch on anything.  All the boats I dive with have "real" ladders,
some have "Christmas Tree" ladders and the rest have 5-6 run angled ladders.
There is only one boat that I would have trouble climbing out of with
doubles...and they don't run tech trips so it's moot.
