Travis,
An APNIC person is a DEAD.....just wait  five to ten minutes and notice the
outcome.  When you have to resuscitate a drowned diver, they are dead, but you
are trying to change their mind.   Even when done correctly victims requiring
ACLS have poor odds of survival.  Therefore, rapid ventilation with 100% O2 is
their best chance.
