WKPP folks often refer to deep stops and special decompression tables for their deep dives. Obviously, these tables are effective, based on their track record. But, I get the impression that the tables are secret, and I'm wondering why. I understand that commercial dive ops often have "secret" tables based on their own institutional experience, and which they regard as a competitive advantage to be kept secret. But WKPP doesn't seem to fall into this category, and I wonder why the proponents of DIR wouldn't want to equally publicize "DIR" tables? Any comments? Thanks.
