Custom Divers have a web site - search for custom&divers on Altavista etc. I only use the backplate, not any of the harness or wing, which is standard stroke kit, as seen on the Lucy 99. - I use domed nuts to secure a doubles rig - they don't dig into back or snag suit at all. I use a Halyon explorer 55 with the backplate, which I have put slots in - by marking through the backplate then took to a sailmaker to put 'eyes' around the slots. Works extremely well for singles with a cam band only (as well as doubles) My harness is one piece, conforming to DIR standard + use Shimellian crotch strap as the CD backplate has a slot for it. regards, Dave. > Brian > > FYI... > > Custom Divers in the UK has a design very similar to your second diagram. > The price is around UKP 90 for the backplate.
