Here is one possible start of a DIR FAQ if anyone would like to take it and run

Masks:
No specific models recommended.   Should be low-profile in order to facilitate
ease of clearing.

Guage Straps:
Either remove and replace with bungee bands, or trim back straps to prevent
tails.

Drysuit Pockets:
Sewn on or professionally installed.    To be placed on outside of thighs to
decrease drag.

Drysuits:
Trilamniate recommended.   Permits equal bouyancy at surface and at depth.

Fins:
Scubapro Jet Fins or equivalent.   Keeps feet down in drysuits.

Fin Straps:
Recommend replacement with springs.   Less breakage.

Tanks:
Low pressure or aluminum with v-weights.   HP's strongly discouraged.
