More likely there was a `problem in maximizing profitability' (or whatever
business-ese expression you want to insert here) about too many customers
getting wise to what generic was equivalent to and cost a lot le$$ than what
brand-named product. Like once when the company that makes tetracycline
complained about the British government's National Health Service buying
chemically identical tablets from Poland at a tenth of the price.
