JJ,
At my current rate of fat burning, now that I'm in the gym as well as on the
bike, by January I'm quite sure I'll have a lower body fat level than you
will. Care to make a wager <g> ?
Like I said earlier, the gym is critical. Giles always said this, I just
would not put the time aside during the last few years. Since I found a gym
a half a mile from work, 25 minute long workouts a few nights a week is
working very well. The cycling seems almost irrelevant in fat burning when
compared to the gym workouts. I think any of us would experience this
whether they were eating vegan or omnivorously.

Regards,
Dan

This same trite ridiculousness again, Dan? Last time we went down this path
all I asked for was some proof, some research. Anything but ramblings.
Fortunately I have too much respect for everyone's time to get lost in a
fruitless repeat of the last uninspiring discussion. It has always seemed
odd that the heavy (pardon the pun) proponents of this stuff are frequently
overweight. I know the story because I went down that road listening to all
the stuff you are currently saying. I used to eat like you and looked quite
a bit more like you. You have been listening to Terry et al for years and
you are still having a weight problem while telling everyone what they
should eat. How about something different? I have been there and done that-
IT DID NOT WORK. Since that time I have lost about 30 useless pounds, am
happier and healthier than ever and have more energy than I know what to do
with. People are free to eat as they please but when you drag out this
foolishness you leave people feeling they don't have any options save the
same tired solutions that leave them fighting with their weight all the
time or at best risking disease or kidney failure following the latest
brilliant diet craze proposals. New info please- the status quo is getting
so very old.

Take care all,
JJ
