Billy, just take a look at a picture of this guy and save your breath - he makes the Slob look like David Bowie. You can expect to see this guy go to great lengths to try to build himself up. Do not , however, expect any of that to include anything about diving that is other than Mad Magazine material. Fortunately, anyone and everyone can see that, so the recommendations by him on this list, if indeed anyone reads them ( I have not seen anything but self-aggrandizement relating to aircraft driving - a fate I was nearly sentenced to for six years during the Viet Nam War) , will fall on deaf ears. What scares me about this stereotype is that there seems to be one on every dive boat in this country, in every dive shop, and in every pool of dive instructors. Most of them claim to be "Navy SEAL" or some other such thing, but the result is the same - an overbearing fat slob with an inferiority complex who lords it over the new guys and fills them full of misinformation.
