The best book I know of on the subject is "Oxygen and the Diver" by
Kenneth Donald.  Covers RN and USN O2 testing for WW2 to recent past.

Published (c)1992 by The SPA Ltd, ISBN 1-85421-176-5.  I believe it
cost me around US$40 to order it from the publisher a year ago.
