Mike,

Thanks for your post.  I subscribe to medline also, but didn't think
about doing a lit search there.  I'm still digesting the studies and
will respond after I've had a chance to read them.

PS - I'm not a fan of deep air diving, but based on several comments
from people who say they're "comfortable" with air to 170' and the
number of people still doing it its obvious that there is still
controversy.  

My thought is that a little science will help clear up the controversy
one way or the other.
