According to Pelican the bulb has a 4.5 volt rating and uses 3 C cell 1.5 volt batteries. My friend emailed me with a website that has the lights for $22.70 ea. So far I have heard totally conflicting stories on this light. Many friends of Barry Miller tell me the light is a piece of shit while some WKPP and other well known divers tell me they have been using the light for years and rate it as excellent. You can't beat the price and I have had a great experience with the light so far.
