Frequently the title of a post (ie, "Another death") is not very descriptive of what is being discussed, you need to poke around. There is no such animal - any industry is, by definition, biased towards its own products. It took Ralph Nader to say "Unsafe At Any Speed", Ford sure as hell couldn't do it themselves. No market pressure to do so. As for concrete evidence, well, has anyone supplied concrete evidence that sticking a screwdriver into a hot junction box is dangerous? No - they arrived at such conclusions using the same type of 'observations' you deride as unsound logic.
