This analogy may be suffering in quite a few areas, not the least of which being
that George (with all due respect) in not the Marine Sgt. Major of all the
divers in all the boats in all the seas in all the configurations of the world.
That he should go up to the individual and with appropriate professionalism say
"Hey buddy, I know you've probably put a lot of thought into that gear, but may
I make a few suggestions?" is without question, because any diver who knows
George and the caliber of excellence earned by him in the industry would
appreciate that kind of one-on-one mentoring.    But to create a tissy-fit in
front of everyone aboard, well, I don't imagine I need to explain why that is
not called for.   Or do I really need to enumerate?
