It appears the State of Florida has taken the first steps in closing Eagles
Nest in Spring Hill, FL to all diving. The person who made the decision is
a diver who , by his own admission, had a close call in a cave and now says
that cavediving is to dangerous to be done on public property.
One state agency official says the policy may be revisited after a land-use
finding is made, but that usually takes at least a year.

So no more Eagles Nest in the foreseeable future.
