Hi Rodel,

And thanks for Your message. The 300 bar tanks we use are mainly
AGA/Interspiro steel tanks, Swedish manufacture. They used to come in
double 7's, but nowadays they only have double six and double four
litre tanks. Then there is the Poseidon, also a Swedish manufacturer.
They have 6, 10, and new 8-litre tanks in 300 bar range, all
of them steel. They can be rigged up in any configuration. They
presented a set of double 8's, which is very interesting for wreck
divers like me, but probably too big for Your use (I don't know too
much about cave diving). In addition, we can get German Heiser
300 bar tanks (6 litres). In general, the Navies of Finland and
Sweden use AGA/Interspiro gear, as well as Firefighters and rescue
people. Therefore we have always had lots of that stuff around. I've
gotten the impression, that 300 bar gear is much more common in
nordic countries than the rest of the world !? I know that it's
getting more familiar within tech-diving community across the water.

There was a Tech-diving seminar at the Polytech in Stockholm, Sweden
this November. There Imre Botos from Interspiro introduced their new
composite tanks (cross-woven carbofibre), which were REALLY light - You
could lift up double fours with a straight arm! And what's best, the
tanks are for water diving, not only smoke diving! And the idea I got
from Imre's presentation was that there really is no pressure limit. Only
problem is probably the price, which I didn't even ask for...

For prices and such information, I think You'd do best to contact
dealers for Poseidon and Aga/Interspiro in Switzerland. If You need
addresses in nordic countries, I'll try to supply them, just let me know.

Don't get lost in them caves, I hear some of those You got are kind
of big. Nice dives, Juha
