I've just finished metric options for Bill Mayne's Buhlmann model implementation and have a few questions relating to the various ZH-L models. The ZH-L12 model Bill implemented uses the a and b coefficients in Buhlmann's book "Decompression - Decompression Sickness". He also included three of the ZH-L16 models (A, B, and C) which are based on a different set of 16 half times and a revised set of a and b coefficients for helium and nitrogen. The three models (A, B, and C) differ only in their "a" coefficient for nitrogen and there are 16 distinct values for each coefficient (unlike the 12 values spread over 16 tissues in ZH-L12). Does anyone know where the coefficients for the ZH-L16 A, B and C models were published? I'm interested in reading more about them. Also, I notice that there is yet another set of coefficients published in the Aladin Pro manual using the ZH-L16 tissue times, but with different coefficients (in fact only 12 different coefficients in the style of the ZH-L12 model Buhlmann published). Does anyone know where this set of coefficients came from? Greg Ryan gregr@cs*.su*.oz*.au*
