Major brain fart on his part. After 4 rides in the chamber, he's paid the price for adding deep stops, then cutting back on the shallow ones - after going 150% over on his bottom time at 280'. He's back diving now - tried to get me to go do a deep one yesterday (300+ fsw), but the wife is due to drop the kid any minute now, and leaving an extremely pregnant wife to go diving would be a baaad thing... His buddy on that Hawaii dive, by the way, followed him on his "modified" profile, and came out of the water with extreme tunnel vision - jumped back in immediately for 90 minutes of IWR at 60 fsw, and emerged, still bent, but in better shape than Hal. He recovered a lot faster, and with a lot less symptoms. Then, to top off a perfect week for Hal, his brother-in-law got sucked into Edison's power plant Cooling Pipe in El Segundo - most likely looking for lobsters. He got sucked against the grate, couldn't break free, and drowned when his air ran out. And how was YOUR week.... ; -) Kevin. -- Send mail for the `techdiver' mailing list to `techdiver@aquanaut.com'. Send subscribe/unsubscribe requests to `techdiver-request@aquanaut.com'.
