Truthfully Jim I thought you knew the difference between say a Luxfer aluminum
tank and a LP Press Steel. Maybe you are just acting dumb.
The pressure rating on steels is a function of the US  DOT requirements.
Compare those  with european standards for the identical tank. These type
tanks can safely hold well above their rated pressure. Sure you may loose some
longevity but  so what.
Aluminum on the other hand will not tolerate substantial overpressuration by
the very nature of aluminum.
In addition, the pressure / volume relationship in an aluminum tank is no
where near that of a steel 120..
