So what happened? Also, what does this have to do with anyone else? Even they would not put a pony bottle of air between their doubles? Why have a pony with doubles? What kind of idiot would put elastic on wings? Sure they inflate on the surface real well , like a lifeboat, but they just do not seem to cut it underwater. What kind of buffoon gets to where he needs 100 pounds of lift, 50 pounds, or even 25 pounds. This is bull, and you guys just do not get it about balanced rigs. At the risk of sounding rude, let me asure you that in person I am not even close to "reasonable". Volker is a long time friend of mine, and one of my original dive buddies so his view is skewed by that. Let me go on to say that you guys fail to realize that a good wiff of air when you are having other problems at 150, 180 or any depth is not conducive to solving the problem, and that it generally makes a simple probelm unsolveable in any reasonable amount of time or to any satisfactory conclusion. Having a seizure, blackout, or whatever due to breathing the wrong gas ( even when it is your beloved air ) is a lot easier than you guys think. Call it what you will, what amazes me from this guy's gear description is how he lived this long. Also, these accounts are not telling us much of anything that I did not guess CORRECTLY up front - stroke gear config, with all of the usual accoutrements, by the usual supects, in the usual location. mhkane@pr*.ne* wrote: > > George, > > Dan Volker assures me that you are more responsive privately than publicly > so I'll take a chance. > > The facts, and you can review a detailed post I did on rec.scuba, is as > follows: > > The second team of the day went down at approx. 9:30 am.
