The Philadelphia Grotto of the National Speleological Society In cooperation with Villanova University and North East Scuba Supply, Inc. - Invite you to attend a FREE seminar - The Woodville Karst Plain Project Presented by: Chris Werner August 10, 1999 at 6:30 p.m. Room 26 of the Center for Environmental Engineering Education Research on the campus of Villanova University The Woodville Karst Plain Project is a non-profit organization of internationally recognized cave divers and scientists committed to exploring, mapping, and studying the submerged cave systems of the Woodville Karst Plain, near Tallahassee Florida. The WKPP is the "cutting edge" of underwater cave exploration. Their unique scientific and diving capabilities, high level of fitness, careful and detailed planning and execution, and strict adherence to "Doing it Right" diving principles have allowed them to maintain an unparalleled safety record, while at the same time advancing our understanding of this fragile ground water resource. Chris is a native of Pennsylvania, now residing in Tallahassee, where he is doctoral candidate in geophysics at Florida State University. He started caving and diving while he was an undergraduate geology student at the University of Pittsburgh, and is currently an active member of the WKPP team.
