Hi, I understand that a dry suit can be thought of as a redundant buoyancy device, which seems reasonable. With a wet suit, which doesn't really seem sensible for long technical dives, the choice is to carry weight on a weight belt rather than in your equipment, thus AL tanks and back-plate + weight belt. What if you are (un)lucky enough to be diving in extremely hot water where only a dive skin or less is required?
