Subject: Re: Argon Bottle to Wings?
Using only breathable gas in your wings is critical, and should be
reason enough to save argon for the suit.

Why the second bladder? One bladder for primary buoyancy, drysuit for
backup buoyancy. In the ocean, jettisonable weight belt for tertiary
buoyancy. If you lose the argon, the dive is over, but you can switch
the inflator from your wings to your suit if you need to add gas to
exit. The second bladder and hose just present extra unnecessary
failure points.

Also, the argon regulator is the only system with no redundant backup.
Using it for your suit only means one hose, and minimum possibility of
failure.
