Hi big Von,

Is super saturation a bad thing? If it is I think we would be
commited to depth, never to return to the surface. My Mom(Mum for the
limies)would be pissed. Now I know to much super saturation can be a bad
thing. I belive this would be at an unmanageable point of bubbledge.
Some refer to this as critical super saturation. But its all in how you
interput it.
This is were they developed that hypothetical M-value thing. The
M-Value was designed to give a name to an allowable supersaturatio ratio
to allowable absolute inert gas pressure.
Now, I could be wrong but a switch to a molecularly lighter gas would
lower the opposition opening the way for gas to defuse not countering
diffusion. This could be bad thing if not kept under control but I don't
think it counters diffusion, it assists it.
Your right. This discussion could get leghthy and misguided
aspecially on this wild and crazy list but I'm all ears(and alittle
mouth <g>). If you would like we could take this privatly not to excite
anyone. I would like to hear more from you.

Now lets get back to hammering Hugo! Yaaaaaa!!
