Mat,

   You are correct that I am not a welder.  I am an elevator
constructor.  Your also right that the regulator is on the bottle and
the hoses do not get high pressure O2 but you are not right as for the
max of 15psi O2, but this is not my point.  My point was the irony of
how careful we are in the diving industry with our oxygen compared to
another industry.
  
  I have done some working dives were in fact we will run the surface
supplied O2 for our carbon arc tourch up to 100 psi or so..
  
  As a elevator constructor we do much iof our own iron work and
oxy-acetylene cutting we may rum the O2 up to 28 psi at times.

  I assume you are not a welder yourself...
