I often simply tuck the hose in my waist band BUT Halcyon makes a
wonderful rigid waist mounted pouch that fit nicely were your canister
light might have gone and the 7' hose can be ran under it.  I see no
need in hauling a canister light on all dives.  Just because you own it
don't mean you have to take it diving with you!
