Fine, especially on long dives it might get crucial. Do not forget to put

You are making a general mistake here. Quite a few before you have made the
same mistake. DIR is a complete system. You can't do one thing right and
ignore other parts, because it won't make sense as you found out.

One SPG, isolation manifold. Definitly no independent doubles.
One bottomtimer, your buddy has the backup.
