Hi Alfred, You really ought to check out the Halcyon wings. You cannot find a better-constructed wing anywhere. All the little important things that you have to do with any new wing when you get it home have already been done for you. (There are inner tube pieces for retaining your LP inflator hose already on the corrugated hose. The pull dump on the wing has the little ball removed. The bladder is protected by inner tube. The corrugated hose _doesn't_ have a pull dump that you need to remove.) I'm using the 65# wing right now, which some people think is a little large for diving with just plain steel 95s or 104s, but I've found that once you get used to the slightly larger footprint, they are a very nice wing, and when you _need_ the extra lift you have it. I've never had any "air-trapping" problems with it or anything else that bothers me. The 55# wing is a more streamlined version still with plenty of lift for steel tanks and a couple stages. Probably most people I know are diving that wing. I also have a smaller 18# wing which is the coolest, most comfortable wing for OW with a wetsuit and a single tank, still using the harness/backplate setup. There are a couple more recreational-type wings, too. The people at Halcyon are very user-friendly, and will be able to help you select the type of wing that best suits your needs, and they will stand behind it if you ever have a problem. I don't mean to sound like an advertisement, I just have been using their wings for a while now and have been _extremely_ happy with the performance and construction of them. They are totally de-stroked. http://www.halcyon.net/ I have a few gear configuration links on my web page in case you're interested. http://www.pipeline.com/~nlevake/Cave/cavelinks.htm Dive safely!
