Vinny,

I could be wrong, but I am not aware of any weight belts or harnesses made 
from polypropylene.  I believe they are all made from nylon.  There are 
differing grades, and some are softer than others.  If you want to see if a 
particular piece of webbing is made of poly, immerse it in fresh water.  If 
it is polypropylene, it will float.  If it does not float it is not poly.
