Charles, Advantages drysuit: 1. warmth 2. buoyancy caracteristics 3. backup buoyancy Even in the warmest parts of the world it is nice to dive a drysuit. I dive 82deg water and use a drysuit for mix dives. A shellsuit (DUI) with different undergarment depending on the dive time. The difference in comfort is amazing. Buoyancy is better and you have a nice backup for wing failure. BTW I noticed you want to buy a drysuit; take a look at the DUI TLS before you consider anything else. Might save you some money in the end when you start destrokefying yourself... Regards, THOMAS >May I ask why you feel deco diving in a wetsuit is a bad idea?
