You cannot use 100% O2 with standard scuba equipment. O2 in contact with
petroleum based products can cause an explosion or fire. Standard suba makes
extensive use of petroleum washers, screws, etc in the manufacture of the
first and second stages. The demand valve for an O2 kit is made specifically
for O2 delivery.

I would agree that not all makes of reg and first stage are able to be O2
cleaned - But many makes are - Many divers use O2 mixes of between 40% - 100%
in water for decompression - this does require first stages and regs to be
cleaned and lubrication correctly.

I believe that Posedins, Sherwoods and Oceniac are able to be O2 cleaned - any
one out their provide details (I only use 40% O2 deco so have not had to get
regs cleaned yet...)
