Some of us like the ability of a dive computer to download your profile and logbook function on a personal computer, the problem is finding economical downloadable computers that won't lock out when you violate the deco algorithm. I have been told that suunto computers will continue to function as a bottom timer after being violated, complete with profile download ability. Does anybody have actual experience with these units and does the download software work well? ---- David Central Washington Scuba Center www.cwscuba.com ---- ----- Original Message ----- From: S I L E N T I M M E R S I O N <silent@cu*.ne*> To: <techdiver@aquanaut.com> Sent: Saturday, May 08, 1999 7:25 AM Subject: Re: Abyss Explorer Nitrox > Scott, > > >Perhaps... but what if a budding tech. diver hasn't logged more than a few > >dozen decompression/mixed gas dives? > > So what?
