Just got the May issue of the Fla. SCUBA news... Mark Zurl writes about =
doing the Hydro Atlantic, with Jim Mimms.

A lot of folks read this rag, and this would be a bad primer for the =
tech wannabe. The shit he describes is pure strokery. Page 17 in the =
new issue if anyone cares. Solo dive, 80/20, steel stages, single tank =
deco and on and on. He even makes mention of seeing divers take a 120 =
lp to depths past 220' Be great to blow a neck O-ring at 220fsw and =
have you and a buddy sucking on a single 120 all the way to your first =
deco switch.

His description of where the wreck is way off also, makes me think he =
was doing the Miller Lite in Pompano not the Hydro. He says it's in =
165', just outside the Hillsboro inlet...last time I checked the Hydro =
was in Boca, just outside the Boca Raton Inlet and at about 178-180. In =
fact one of the lineup's we use to find it is the Boca Resort and Hotel. =
I love seeing this crap in "recreational" mags, just makes it that much =
harder to get folks diving safely from the start.

Sean
