Just curious, does anyone know what the average time is between a
helicopter pickup off the mainland U.S. or U.K. and actually getting
to a chamber? I'm sure this varies greatly, but what about for
most places people dive? How about:

1. Time between calling the Coast Guard to arrival of helicopter
(say 30 miles offshore, just for arguments sake, or from a
    Coast Guard station).

2. Time between loading up patient into helicopter and arrival at
    hospital.

3. Time between arriving at hospital and getting in the chamber.

I would think that in most cases, it would take more than 30 minutes.
Comments, anyone?

Christina
