No, the follow on discussion IS related....the original response which started the thread was not. My main point is, the techdiver discussion started mid stream with no details on the incident. If the intent is to discuss on techdiver, at least bring everyone up to date for the benefit of those who don't follow cavers. This particular example was probably a bad one to use regarding techdiver content, but the essence of the message is still valid.
