I have a hogarthian rig w/ SS backplate that I'd like to set up for
open ocean diving, using DIR principles.


I dive almost exclusively off a kayak in 10C water. With the kayak, for
me this means single tank and 6.5 mm wetsuit.


Does this preclude the use of any integrated weights or steel tanks?
(I'd like to implement a keel weight on the tank. I'd also like a
higher capacity tank than an AL80).


Is there no way to set this up and DIR?
