>Have I just dared challenge the High Lords of the WKPP >orthodox DIR divers >disciples and WKPP wannabees who blindly do without thinking and cannot >tolerate being questioned. > In later years I'll pray for forgiveness for my heresy of daring to question Saint George but >for now my blasphemic gear and I shall retire to our cave. Next thing you know they will call DIR a cult... Does this guy realise what kind of a fool he makes of himself writing this kind of stuff to techdiver? Moonies or Scientologists, ehhh, DIRies, Hogarthianists.... Then arguing independent doubles.... arggggggggg.... It truly amazes me that people do not seem to read the archives first before they start their stupid threads. Then they get pissed because of the reactions they get from listmembers that get tired of this crap. >What kind of imbecile would put the contents gauge on a different regulator >from the one being breathed in a manifolded rig. I do. So do most of the people on this list. What's the problem? >For example, a manifolded diver jumps in the water, swims into a cave >then realises the needle on his gauge hasn't moved in the last fifteen >minutes because he forgot to check that the isolator was open. Ahhhh, so this is your vision... Excellent example. For me this is the same as jumping in the water without fins and continuing to swim. Or without a mask and continuing. I check my valves (and the rest of my gear) before I dive you know. In my cave training my instructor shut my isolator for fun about 4-6 times during every dive. And sometimes before the dive. Never been a problem. If it would I am very positive he would not have certified me. In my opinion you should not be diving Stuart, you are dangerous. Stuart, who do you think 90% of this list is calling an imbicile when they read your mail... Regards, THOMAS -- Send mail for the `techdiver' mailing list to `techdiver@aquanaut.com'.
