I have been getting private e-mails that tell me DIR, specifically manifolds, will not work in cold water. The Swedish brothers don't seem to have any trouble, and when I was cutting my technical teeth in South Holston Lake in East Tennessee I didn't have any problems. South Holston is a spring fed lake in the Appalachian Mountains. It is 42 degrees at 200 feet in the summer, 37 degrees in the winter, 3 foot viz all the time. I had a piece of shit Seatec bag suit, woolie underwear and three finger mitts that were the worst, but I could still reach all three valves on my piece of shit Genesis manifold that connected my worse piece of shit Genesis 120's. Cold water? Been there, done that got over it. Even as a stroke I could out-dive you guys. And now you're challenging me to come dive your sights? I have nothing to prove. You guys, however seem to have a great deal to prove. Trout -- Send mail for the `techdiver' mailing list to `techdiver@aquanaut.com'.
