You are not bursting my bubble you are simply wrong ( hi this is my opinion), so I disagree. I had bought one of the strobe West Marine and the only positive thing that I can say on it that is cheep ( about $25). To activate it you need to turn slightly a plastic ring on the outside of the body, this will turn easily and it is VERY fragile. Than on that weekend one of the guy in my boat, Jeff Hewlett were using the Tektite 300 strobe, and the flowing Monday I brought the cheep Chines strobe back to the store. All the TEKTITE strobes are build to handle abuse, they will last for a very long time. Additionally, the 300 model will run for over 30 hours on a set of batteries. The strobe light is extremely noticeable, and it is certify to 1,000 foot depth rating. It is coming to that - you get what you pay for! Bye Roni >jb179 wrote: > >> * TEKTITE Strobe 300 brand new.
