The remark to which you refer was an attempt at humor. 

This thread may be ridiculous but diving the wrong mix is not. I expect
most analyze there mix before the dive. I suppose if a person feels better
about rolling their tanks on the floor they should do it. I do not believe
this helps the gases "mix", BUT I do beleive that before analysis is
performed its important that enough time has elapsed for the gases to
homogenize.

Remember, also analyze your gas after a bumpy 4x4 trail to the dive site.
This could mix you gas too much and some settling mat occur.
